To procure raw materials and services supporting Magnera site operations.

Responsibilities

  • Order categories for Magnera plants as assigned by Procurement leadership.
  • Conduct analytics and determine appropriate inventory levels, ensuring that inventory metrics are achieved.
  • Collaborate with assigned plants to reduce slow moving and obsolete items.
  • Work with supply base to design and implement programs to optimize inventory at assigned plants.
  • Submit any quality and/or service complaints timely to suppliers, track as needed and ensure completion by assigned deadline.
  • Identify and implement cost savings programs both independently and as part of a team.
  • Support departmental initiatives related to personal and supplier development.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to generate project ideas, cost savings opportunities, and execute on those initiatives.
  • Special Projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Travel: approximately 0-10%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Purchasing/Supply Chain preferred.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of systems including ERP, MS Office tools, spend data, procurement software.
  • Working knowledge of general purchasing practices, inventory management, & category level buying.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ERP system, SIOP process, & purchasing processes.
  • Ability to analyze data, make sound decisions/recommendations based on findings.
  • Ability to communicate, present to multiple levels throughout organization
