PURPOSE:

The Lead Operators of Converting lines will provide a safe work environment and assist in training of team members. Additionally, the Lead Operators will assist in the direction of the line team members to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency; and ensure product quality and control of production processes.

• Direct daily work activities on the line in order to meet productivity and production goals.
• Training of operators in accordance to work instructions and training plan.
• Ensure product and packaging quality of all materials packaged for shipment.
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are being followed by line personnel.
• Evaluate new operators following the OJTs.

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum one year manufacturing experience
• Demonstration of leadership ability and an understanding of the basics of extrusion, lamination, and/or conversion
• Strong computer aptitude and experience
• Current Berry Global forklift operator’s license may be required
