We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounts Payable Manager to oversee our AP department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle of accounts payable processes.
  • Supervise and mentor AP staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Oversee a team that services 24 manufacturing locations across the US.
  • Review and approve invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Prepare and analyze AP reports, providing insights to senior management.
  • Implement and improve AP processes and systems for efficiency.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but dependent upon relevant work experience.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with SAP or JDE World is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
