The Supply Chain Excellence Project Manager has the qualifications and business acumen to analyse data, facts and trends, supporting the business since the identification of improvement opportunities to the deployment of improvement initiatives. Additionally he/she works in cross-functionally either leading or supporting the development and execution of continuous improvement projects, business process automation, best practices-sharing, as well as, the establishment and implementation of new processes and policies, in order to enhance Supply Chain maturity and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or work in collaboration with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement projects or initiatives within local or global SC organization.
  • Lead or support the development of new process, tools and reports in collaboration with other departments (SC, Operations, Sale, IT and Finance), which may also include the digitalization and automation.
  • Conduct business/data analysis (Global, Local or cross-functional) on identification of opportunities focused on value creation and enhance of Supply Chain efficiency End-to-End.
  • Support the creation of a Zero losses culture either through training, best-practices sharing or collaboration on improvement initiatives.
  • Lead or support the implementation of SC Standards and Best Practice Sharing across sites.
  • Lead or support the translation of Business requirements in data requests.
  • Lead or support the Adoption of digital solutions, make sure technology and new ways of working are incorporated into team routines and participate in the development and continuous improvement of digital solutions/interfaces with a full focus on users' experience.
  • Travel: approximately 30%
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain, engineering or a similar field
  • Demonstrated experience as Project Manager and Change manager
  • Experience in data analysis, KPI Tracking and problem-solving initiatives
  • Minimum 5 year of experience in one or more of the following areas: SC Planning (preferable), Warehouse Management, Logistic Operations or Customs and Trade.
  • Experience in process industry in B2B setting. FMCG could also be applicable.
  • Minimum Six Sigma Green Belt Certified (Black Belt will be considered a plus).

  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient in use of MS office suite (specifically in MS Excel) or data tabulation software
  • Knowledge on use SAP (S4, ECC), Oracle, Navision and MS Dynamics are a plus
  • Able to develop integrated Dashboards as Power BI, BI, Tableau
  • APICS certification is a plus
  • Ability to programming (VBA, Python, C++, etc.) is a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Mostly office base work with regular interactions, visits with Operations (Manufacturing, Logistics and/or Warehouse Departments).
  • Interactions with suppliers, external providers may be necessary occasionally.
