Responsibilities

  • Job costings along with analyzing new business or business changes – MCA + FTS
  • Account reconciliations and closing activities – MCA + FTS
  • Review daily sales and cost MCA + FTS
  • Monitor and project orders and monthly spending MCA + FTS
  • Monitor inventory transactions and job variances - MCA only
  • Support internal and external audits; focus on monthly/quarterly SOX controls (Auditboard tasks) – MCA + FTS
  • Support AOP and forecasting process for the sites; focus on top-lines forecast (Gross Sales, Sales Deductions, RM & OVH COGS, Freight), forecast uploads to SAP BW/AO– Legacy GLT sites + MCA
  • Calculate supplier rebate accruals (incl. tracking of material receipts, rebate factors, vendor payments) – Legacy GLT sites only
  • Ad-hoc reporting/analytics (sales, production, raw material costs, cost center spend etc.) – Legacy GLT sites, but would expect some MCA support as well
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials and supporting calculations (e.g. for monthly operating reviews) – Legacy GLT sites only
  • Special projects – e.g. collaboration with the S&OP Team to develop financial metrics in SAP IBP and financial forecast automation – Legacy GLT sites only
  • Assist with physical inventories if needed MCA + FTS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting and 3-5 years of related experience (5-7 years for Sr. financial analyst) OR Master’s in Business Administration and 1 to 3 years of related experience (greater than 3 years for Sr. Financial analyst
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high-level of attention to details
  • Profound knowledge of financial statement analysis, incl. variance analysis/explanations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Software Applications, with advanced Microsoft Excel abilities
  • SAP (CO, FI, BW/BI/AO) and JDE experience preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively within the Finance Team and across functions
