Overview

Join Our Team as an Extruder Operator in Mooresville, NC. $5,000 Sign-on Bonus. 

 

We are seeking experienced Extruder Operators to join a Magnera, at its successful location in Mooresville. This is a great opportunity to work with highly talented and experienced team that welcomes new employees. 

 

This position is NIGHTS - 4 nights on/4 nights off - 12.5 hours per day (6:30p to 7a) + overtime. 

 

Benefits include PTO, Holidays, Medical/Dental/Vision/Company paid Disability/401(k). Company provided PPE (steel toe/composite shoes; ear protection, gloves, safety glasses, bump hats). Earn Perfect Attendance Days.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machinery.
  • Maintain quality control standards throughout production.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary adjustments.
  • Lift materials and products (up to 70 lbs.) as needed.
  • Follow company safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, (or a GED) or equivalent experience is required
  • Must have extruder machine operating experience.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Must be mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot equipment.
  • Must possess good problem-solving skills, basic math skills, along with good interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to speak, understand, write English.
Environment:

 

Work area is a manufacturing environment which is not climate-controlled year round with noise levels ranging from moderate to loud.
