Responsibilities

In order to achieve sales objectives regarding revenue, profitability and market share, the Key Account Manager for Hygiene (KAM HY) is responsible for managing existing accounts, identifying sales opportunities and developing new business. He/she/they are responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships and the realization of sales objectives within the specific segments for Hygiene.

 

The position will focus on developing, maintaining and improving the long-term relationships for the Hygiene market segment which primarily targets global multinational corporations. He/she/they will continuously cooperate and work together with the internal support teams in order to coordinate and manage tasks & projects internally as well as externally to deliver best value for the customer.

 

In addition, the Key Account Manager Hygiene will act as a primary linkage to the market. He/she/they will proactively gather prospective clients’ needs and market trends and liaise with Marketing, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain and Customer Care to ensure they are considered and translated in actions. He/she/they will also participate in professional trade fairs and conferences to represent the organization and enhance our customer's visibility.

 

  1. Develop relationships within existing large strategic accounts, divisions and locations.
  2. To enhance the penetration of the existing client base through continuous collaboration on product development with clients.
  3. Project management: to lead and manage projects to enable growth.
  4. Deliver on the value proposition of our solutions at every level.
  5. Gain access to and influence the appropriate decision makers to pursue business opportunities through to a successful conclusion.
  6. Take ownership for the relationship between customers and all departments within production site.
  7. Gain in depth understanding of the current and future needs of target accounts and develop and implement medium and long-term account plans to realize the potential.
  8. Leverage his/her/their strategic industry knowledge across the organization.
  9. Attain monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals. Responsible for achieving commercials sales targets.
  10. Maintain comprehensive contact, lead and opportunity details in Salesforce.
  11. Manages:
    • Strategic business plans.
    • Data analysis for tenders/ RFQ’s
    • Preparation of Top to Top meetings
    • Market- and competition research.
    • Marketing department and promotional activities.
    • Contract terms negotiations.

 

  1. Pricing process Responsible for after sales; cooperates with customer service in order to ensure correct handling of purchase orders and customer agreements.
  2. Is a constructive and proactive team-member for the complete sales process; acquisition, sales, supply chain and after sales.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar - a plus.

 

Relevant post qualifying certifications.

Driving License.

Must be mobile and able to travel frequently (50%).

  • Fluent English is required (both verbal and written).
  • Fluency in additional languages (especially German) is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in the Hygiene-related business including films, paper, absorbents etc., addressing complex buying centers at BtoBtoC oriented multinationals is wanted.
  • Demonstrate overall business and financial acumen as well as sound project management experience.
  • Knowledge of CRM.
  • Knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
  • An assertive and competitive individual who enjoys the challenges of a technical sales role.
  • Strong achievement orientation. Used to weekly reporting results.
  • Willing to work with an international team.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
