In this role you can contribute to the profitable growth of the Terno d'Isola site and Magnera through effective process control and improvement.

Coordinate and exercise technical authority over Operations to ensure high machine efficiency, productivity and quality products with low waste.
Focuses on medium- and long-term process improvements, analyses energy and material efficiencies.
Scopes and propose potential improvement methods and technology upgrade projects.
Leads root cause analysis for equipment failures and deviations versus target performances, formalizing
reports and data trends associated with actions.
Responsible for preventing equipment failures, secure RCA’s for equipment failures, evaluates MTBF,
MTBR, optimizes Preventive Maintenance program.

Responsibilities

Supports plant Safety & Quality vision, policies and initiatives.
Learns, understands & asses plant manufacturing technologies and process control systems.
Technical owner & manage improvements for production line.
Lead & keep accountability to set process methods, promoting consistent operations through the creation and optimization of Standard Operative Procedure’s oriented to maximize utilization of resources in all aspects of the operation.
Secure availability and usage of the line recipe for each product by line.
Support actively multi-skill operation strategy.
Develop training course documentation to support training initiative to standardize and raise skills of operators.
Support and train manufacturing operators to ensure safe optimized use of equipment and materials to meet customers’ needs and Company profitability standard.
Provide technical expertise and experience to other site function to support plant performance.

Secure periodical data gathering and reporting.
Analyse production performances.
Analyse root causes of the production variances.
Identify and analyse for equipment failures root cause analysis.
Advanced troubleshooting of the process and\or product defect.
Define and implement corrective actions and promote improvement program.
Identify and implement manufacturing improvements initiatives adopting Lean Six Sigma &DMAIC methodologies.
Propose and lead new equipment installation and startup.

Implement local and corporate based quality initiatives including Process Change and FMEA.
Manages process changes through controlled experimentation and design of experiment.

Qualifications

Education :(Degree/Major) University degree – Engineering (preferred)
Certifications: Six Sigma green or black belt (preferred)
High proficiency level with MS Office applications and CAD.
Work Experience: Minimum 3 -5 years’ experience in a role of Technical Manager
