To manage and oversee Procurement Organization in US&C region, including assigned strategic categories as well as operational buying teams. Develop short & long-term business plans. Focus on cost savings, working capital improvements, personnel development, market/industry analysis & supply continuity.

Responsibilities

· Manage, design and develop Procurement Organization

· Training and development of personnel

· Establish, maintain, & foster Supplier network, understanding all available technology, operations, opportunities, and supply chain challenges

· Provide regular market analyses, benchmark data and supplier evaluations to support planning and management in the categories concerned

· Responsible for performance reporting – development, coordination and implementation of appropriate reporting systems

· Work with internal and external stakeholders to generate project ideas, cost savings opportunities

· Maintain appropriate inventory levels, working with teams to implement successful inventory strategy that meets inventory and working capital metrics

· Identify and develop strategies to improve working capital

· Special Projects and other duties as assigned by Chief Procurement Officer

· Travel: approximately 10-20

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree or greater in Business, Finance, Purchasing/Supply Chain preferred

· 5-10 years Procurement experience

· Proven experience in the procurement of raw materials

· Experience in the selection, preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts

· Experience in leading high-pressure negotiations

· Demonstrated leadership skills, people development

· High-level problem-solving skills; analytical, organizational, and communication skills

· Ability to understand macro strategy and implement solutions

· Ability to communicate, present to multiple levels throughout organizatio
