The Typar Key Account Manager is to focus on developing relationships and programs that encourage large regional builders, national builders, dealers, distributors, multi-family developers, general contractors and architects to select Typar™ Construction Products over other competitive products for their residential, commercial, mixed use and multifamily projects.
Typar™ Key Account Manager is to focus his time on large regional builders, national builders, multi-family developers, general contractors, architects, onboarding new dealers and distributors and leading demand creation efforts. These markets represent area of strategic importance in TYPAR®’s growth journey and we looking for a passionate, knowledgeable national account manager with key influential relationships in these target markets and across the value chain to drive incremental new business for TYPAR®. The Typar Key Account Manager will work with our agents, specialists and 2-step distributor partners to develop direct relationships with key stakeholders across the value chain to drive demand for all TYPAR® Construction Products.
Assessing how much time a Typar Key Account Manager should direct their work effort to the different groups is predicated on a Typar Key Account Manager’s knowledge of construction and building segments. A Typar Key Account Manager’s role is to develop influential relationships with builders, developers, GCs, builders, architects and local industry influencers. It is at the decision maker level that Typar Key Account Manager will be most effective. It is acceptance by the decision maker, whether they are a Builder, Developer, GC, Builder, Architect, Specification Writer or Industry Influencer that will create drive for Typar® Construction Products.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Plans, coordinates and directs the sales and marketing for Typar National Accounts through key 2-step distributor partners, dealers, installers in Texas and Western USA territories. Develops and provides support aides for multiple business segments for use by 2-step distributor partner sales personnel in sales presentations to said targets. Provides product knowledge and coordinates and presents program related training. Regionally may orient new 2-step distributor partner branch of existing programs and support in market demand creation efforts to drive builders, dealers, general contractors and architects to select TYPAR® Construction products. Primary responsibility is line volume, profitability and revenue results for respective territory & book of business.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Marketing Management or Business. Minimum five (5) years’ experience in field sales and/or marketing.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
