The SAP IBP Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Integrated Business Planning solutions across demand, supply, inventory, and S&OP processes. This role requires deep functional knowledge of SAP IBP modules and their integration with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise systems. The analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize planning processes, configure planning areas, and deliver analytics that drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain SAP IBP modules: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and S&OP.
  • Design and manage planning areas, key figures, time profiles, and master data objects.
  • Integrate SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA and external systems using CPI-DS or SDI.
  • Develop and maintain planning views in Excel using the IBP add-in and Fiori apps.
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Support monthly planning cycles. Troubleshoot planning run issues and data inconsistencies.
  • Create and maintain documentation for configuration, processes, and training.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Lead and execute SAP IBP upgrades and patch testing.
  • Provide end-user support and training across global teams.
  • Travel: approximately 15%
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP IBP modules.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts and processes (i.e. demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization and S&OP).
  • Experience with SAP IBP Excel add-in and Fiori apps.
  • Familiarity with integration tools like CPI-DS, SDI, or BW.
  • Experience with forecasting models, disaggregation logic, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience leading workshops and training sessions for business users.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its planning-related modules (e.g., PP, MM, SD).
  • Experience with SAP Notes and IBP release management.
