Responsible for ensuring the availability and efficiency of systems and machinery to guarantee operational continuity, in compliance with safety principles and standards.

Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans, prioritising interventions and managing the availability of spare parts.

Assure timely intervention by coordinated personnel and manage allocation and scheduling.

Promotes the development of skills of assigned personnel.

Responsible for preventing equipment failures, secure RCA’s for equipment failures, evaluates MTBF, MTBR, optimizes Preventive Maintenance program.

Responsibilities

Supports plant Safety & Quality vision, policies and initiatives.

That safety regulations are respected through the monitoring of the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Learns, understands & asses plant manufacturing technologies and processes.

Is responsible for the availability and efficiency of the plant facilities and machinery, and specifically manages and ensures:

  • The proper maintenance of the production unit's systems, in accordance with production schedules, planned downtimes, emergency interventions, and plant safety requirements.
  • The correct use of internal resources, resorting to external maintenance companies under specific and agreed conditions.
  • In collaboration with production colleagues, carries out modifications to improve the systems, provides technical support to maintenance operators during interventions, ensuring compliance with company rules and safety standards.
  • Prepares maintenance plans, oversees their implementation, and works to improve the performance and availability of the systems through the study and implementation of technical improvements.
  • Ensures the care and updating of technical documentation related to machines and systems.
  • Monitors the operational status and revalidation of systems and machines, ensures the availability of consumables and specific spare parts, and oversees the proper execution of work within the planned budget.

Is responsible for the technological systems serving the plant, specifically:

  • Organizes, coordinates, and supervises the activities of specialized personnel (mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, and civil maintenance).
  • Ensures the care and updating of technical documentation related to technological systems.
  • Is responsible for the workshop and the equipment therein, ensuring the efficiency of the tools and equipment assigned to maintenance personnel.

Is responsible for the assigned personnel and, in particular, for those hierarchically reporting to them, manages and ensures:

  • On-call availability, shift scheduling, and vacation planning in accordance with overall company needs.
  • Identify and analyse for equipment failures root cause analysis.
  • Advanced troubleshooting of the equipment defect.
  • Define and implement corrective actions and promote improvement program.
  • Lead new equipment installation and support startup.
  • Manages process changes through controlled experimentation.

Qualifications

Education: University degree – Engineering (preferred)

Certifications:  Six Sigma green or black belt (preferred) High proficiency level with MS Office applications and CAD.

Work Experience: Minimum 3 -5 years’ experience in a role of Maintenance Coordinator
