The Vice President of Global IT Operations and Infrastructure is a senior technology leader responsible for the strategic direction, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide IT operations. This includes global and regional data centers, storage systems, network architecture, end-user support, infrastructure services, database administration, and platform management. The role ensures secure, scalable, and resilient IT environments that support business continuity, digital transformation, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

· Oversee day-to-day operations of global IT infrastructure, including data centers, cloud platforms, and on-premise systems.

· Lead regional IT teams to ensure consistent service delivery across AMER, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC.

· Define and execute infrastructure strategy across public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid environments.

· Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

· Manage enterprise storage systems.

· Drive modernization initiatives to simplify and optimize core platforms while reducing risk and cost.

· Lead global network architecture including SD-WAN, VPN, firewalls, and zero-trust platforms.

· Ensure high availability, performance, and security of network infrastructure.

· Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce secure-by-design principles.

· Manage global help desk operations and regional onsite support teams.

· Define SLAs, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement in user experience.

· Oversee device lifecycle management, onboarding/offboarding, and collaboration tools.

· Lead change management processes.

· Maintain internal controls and audit readiness for infrastructure and operations.

· Present infrastructure updates to executive leadership and governance boards.

· Manage budgets, vendor contracts, and cost optimization initiatives.

· Lead enterprise backup strategy.

· Ensure data integrity, recoverability, and retention compliance across all sites.

· Oversee enterprise database environments including SQL Server, Oracle, and cloud-native databases.

· Ensure database performance, availability, scalability, and security.

· Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for critical data assets.

· Manage database lifecycle, patching, upgrades, and compliance.

· Ensure reliability and scalability of platforms supporting ERP, MES, collaboration, and analytics.

· Collaborate with application teams to optimize platform performance and integration.

· Manage platform lifecycle, including provisioning, monitoring, and decommissioning.

· Travel: approximately 15%.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.

· 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in infrastructure and operations.

· Experience managing global teams and multi-region data center environments.

· Familiarity with SAP, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and enterprise networking.

· Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive organizational change.
