This position is to learn and document the new process flows within the plant using the new tools, Mapex & SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Will learn positions within the company, primarily production.
  • Will learn processes in production to be able to document process flows.
  • Compare old JDE processes vs new SAP/MAPEX
  • Learn requirements of key makers of consumer products/customers to have documented process flows that adhere to their requirements 
  • Learn requirements to retain certifications by ISO 9000; GMP: Edana, etc.
  • Will conduct time study to complete each part of the documented process flows/certification activity
  • Able to network with SME, NNT, Content Experts to confirm proposed flows/certification and process changes.
    Able to present propose changes + time study to leaders in Production, Lab, Plant
  • Able to create/edit documentation to reflect approved process flows/processes that use Mapex/SAP
  • Create presentation showing achievements, projected cost savings

Qualifications

  • Rising Juniors or Seniors pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong presentation, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Professional attitude and willingness to learn
  • Desire to work in a team environment.
  • Some experience in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Processes, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Must be able to commute to/from Mooresville, NC.
