Responsibilities

 

Help drive quality, compliance, and continuous improvement at Magnera.

 

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality & Compliance Coordinator to support and enhance our Quality Management Systems across the business. This role is key to ensuring our processes, systems, and products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

 

Working closely with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and auditors, you will help maintain our management systems, support accreditation activities, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and promote a strong quality culture throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage the site's Business Management System (BMS), ensuring documentation remains accurate, current, and compliant.
  • Support the maintenance and certification of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 standards.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, Magnera standards, CE/UKCA requirements, and relevant ISO standards.
  • Manage customer concerns, non-conformance processes, and quarantine controls to ensure issues are effectively addressed.
  • Coordinate investigations into non-conformities, ensuring robust root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented.
  • Monitor quality performance data, customer feedback, audit findings, and testing results to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain quality control systems, databases, and reporting tools.
  • Coordinate Product Data Sheets (PDS), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • Support the issue and distribution of Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and Certificates of Conformity (CoC).
  • Manage calibration compliance records and ensure testing equipment remains within calibration requirements.
  • Produce clear and meaningful quality KPI reports for stakeholders.
  • Identify quality training needs and deliver coaching and awareness activities to support a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits.
  • Promote safe working practices and contribute to a positive health, safety, and environmental culture.
  • Support continuous improvement projects and other business initiatives as required.

 

Qualifications

 

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Degree (BSc) or equivalent combination of training, education, and relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience within a Quality, Compliance, Continuous Improvement, or Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with ISO 9001 quality management systems and processes.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles and best practices.
  • Experience investigating non-conformities and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and drive improvements.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence positive change.

Desirable

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt qualification.
  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 standards.
  • Experience with CE/UKCA marking requirements.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful continuous improvement projects.
  • Experience delivering quality-related training and coaching.
  • Additional language skills.
